Children’s Ministry

Loving God’s children and pointing them to the Gospel is at the heart of our Children’s Ministry at City Church. Each week our children hear the gospel from an adult volunteer teacher.  We teach our lessons from The Gospel Story Curriculum (Pre-K- 5th Grade) and The Beginner’s Gospel Story Curriculum (Nursery- 3yo) and we emphasize reading God’s Word together. 

• Nursery (0-23 months)
• 2s-3s (2-3 year-olds)
• Pre-K/ Kinder (4-5 year-olds)
• 1st-5th Grade 

Through a secure check-in process, parents may check in their children beginning at 8:45am. Children ages 0-2 may remain in their classroom for the duration of the service, while children 3 years old- 5th grade will join their families in the service until dismissed to City Kids classes about 20 minutes into the service. From there, children will walk together with their teachers to their classroom until the end of the service when parents return to pick up their children by showing their pick up sticker to the teacher.

In each classroom, children will experience a safe, clean, Gospel-centered and loving environment. All of our teachers are background checked and trained to lead kids in a church setting. We also provide a closed-circuit tv monitor in the fellowship hall so you can sneak a peek at your child at any time without them seeing you.
